A recent policy change within the s.w.a.t. group of companies has highlighted the fact that current uk based pyrotechnics are not safe:

on tests conducted in controlled environments it was discovered that certain makes of pyrotechnics very volatile in handling, other brands were just very poor quality.

until s.w.a.t. has convinced its self that a reliable high quality pyrotechnic can be sourced we will be banning all use of pyrotechnics from all of our venues:
